Practice #6: Giving

To present and voluntarily give
without expecting compensation

To Love is to give: For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son.

- John 3:16

The Essence of Christianity: Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.

- John 15:13

Giving is Freeing: So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

The Practice of Giving:
• Time: Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. Matt 10:39
• Talent: "The Parable of Talents" Matt 25:14-30
• Treasures: Do not store up for yourselves treasures on
earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves
break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in
heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where
thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure
is, there your heart will be also. Matt 6:19-21
