Practice #2: Prayer

And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
- Ephesians 6:18

The Prayer of Thanksgiving: Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

- Philippians 4:6

The Prayer of Dedication: Going a little farther, He fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from Me. Yet not as I will, but as You will."

- Matthew 26:39

The Prayer of Faith: Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

- Mark 11:24

Matthew 6:9-13 This, then, is how you should pray: "Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your Name, (Thanksgiving) Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. (Dedication) Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. (Faith)
