Micah was born in British Columbia, Canada, but grew up in the slightly warmer city of Denver, Colorado.  At the same time Dana grew up in the Midwestern city of Kenosha, WI. In 1998, they met in Tucson, AZ where they fell in love while attending college.  Dana graduated in December 2001 from the University of Arizona where she majored in Music, and minored in Dance.  A year later in December of 2002 Micah also graduated from the University of Arizona where he majored in Communication with a History minor.

After graduating Micah and Dana joined the staff of a Church in Tucson focused on reaching students at the U of A with the gospel.  After a short time of working together in the ministry Micah and Dana were married in December of 2003.  Upon returning from their honeymoon they were asked to consider helping start a church on the campus of Arizona State University in Tempe.  The thought of Wildcats reaching Sun Devils was hard to get past, but they managed to do so.  Micah and Dana worked on the staff of Hope Christian Church in Tempe for three years before they felt God was releasing into a new direction of ministry.

While considering where God was leading them, Micah and Dana had the opportunity to attend Gateway Life Church as a result of their close relationship with Ryan and Janet Arneson.  Shortly after they felt God was calling them to build into this church.  They joined the staff in February 2008.

As a result of Micah and Dana's lives being changed by the love of God, their hope is to bring that same love to the people of Chandler.  Micah and Dana believe that God desires to raise up men and women of character through discipleship according to His word that will change this city, this nation, and our world.  They have had the privilege of ministering to thousands of people with the saving power of Jesus both domestically as well as internationally including Canada, New Zealand, Malawi, Africa and countries in Europe.
